Introduction:
Brendan Buck is a Town Planner and the Principal of BPS Planning Consultants. Brendan has a degree in Economics, a Masters degree in Regional and Urban Planning, and Diplomas in Urban Design & Environmental Impact Assessment / Strategic Environmental Assessment.
Brendan has worked as a self-employed planning consultant for over six years. Prior to this he was a local authority planner, a planning lecturer and a PAYE employed private planner.
Brendan has extensive knowledge and experience of the Irish planning system.
For First Parties (individuals, businesses & developers) Brendan can:
- Advise clients on planning matters;
- Hold pre-planning discussions with relevant authorities;
- Prepare and manage planning applications;
- Produce a range of planning & environmental reports (Environmental Impact Assessments; Appropriate Assessments; Natural Screening Statements; Retail Impact Assessments, etc); and
- Manage appeals and oral hearings (including expert evidence) and can address any planning issue which arises.
For Third Parties (objectors, adjoining property owners, community groups, etc) Brendan can:
- Provide advice;
- Research and write objections; and
- Lodge appeals; and manage oral hearings (including giving expert evidence).
